Bank verification for MCA lenders

Verify the bank.
See the stack.
Fund with confidence.

FinClarity pulls 24 months of real bank history through Finclarity Link or your own Plaid keys, records what an aggregator cannot reach, and flags when a borrower is already in another lender's pipeline.

Billed monthly. There is no demo account.

  • Finclarity Link or your Plaid keys
  • No bank credentials stored
  • 24-month statement PDFs

The gap in the file

A clean statement is not a clean file.

A borrower can show twelve months of tidy deposits and still be three fundings deep with other lenders. By the time the statements look thin, the money has usually moved.

The decision problem is not data access. It is evidence you can point at, and a view of the market around the borrower that goes beyond the file in front of you.

01

Stacked positions

Multiple active advances drain the same account. A single statement will not show the other lenders.

02

Screenshots instead of evidence

PDFs pasted into a folder cannot be re-opened, traced or defended when a file is reviewed later.

03

Decisions you cannot explain

If the decline reason is a gut feeling, it is not a file. Underwriting needs a source for every number.

How it works

From link to evidence in one sitting.

The borrower never creates a FinClarity account. Your team sends a link, chooses a method, and reviews the result in the same workspace where the alerts live.

  1. 01

    Send the link

Create a verification and send it by SMS or email. The link is single-purpose and expires.

  2. 02

    Borrower connects

They authenticate at their bank, or your underwriter records the session. No app install.

  3. 03

    Review the evidence

Bank history, risk signals, network alerts and statement PDFs, all attached to one file.

Verification methods

Four ways in. One evidence trail.

Not every borrower can connect through an aggregator, and not every bank is supported. FinClarity keeps the same standard of evidence across all four methods, so the file does not change shape depending on how the data arrived.

Finclarity Link

Hosted connection

Send a link. The bank connection happens on our side.

A hosted FinClarity page connects the borrower's bank through our bank-connectivity provider, so you can start without a Plaid account. The borrower authenticates with their bank and the data lands in the same 24-month underwriting view.

  • No Plaid account required
  • Mobile-first borrower page
  • Same evidence trail as every method

Bank Connect

Your Plaid keys

Automated bank connection, on your own Plaid keys.

The borrower authenticates at their bank through your Plaid account, so you keep your Plaid contract, dashboard and direct bank rates. FinClarity receives account, balance and transaction data and turns it into a 24-month underwriting view.

  • Account and routing details, balances, transactions
  • 24-month statement PDFs
  • No bank credentials ever touch FinClarity

Manual

Supervised recording

When the portal is the only source, record it.

A supervised browser-extension session captures the pages the underwriter needs, with AI-assisted review turning the recording into structured evidence. Built for banks and portals that do not support an aggregator.

  • Extension-based capture, no borrower account
  • AI-assisted review of captured pages
  • Recording and page URLs kept with the file

Share Screen

Live meeting

Sit on the call. Leave with the evidence.

For borrowers who need a person, a live screen-share session captures the bank view while your underwriter talks. The session recording and verification result land in the same file as every other method.

  • Live session with your underwriter
  • Screen-share capture and recording
  • Same evidence trail as every method

Network intelligence

The borrower already applied somewhere else.

Every verification becomes a signal. When the same business is verified or funded elsewhere in the FinClarity network, your file says so, with timing, without exposing the other lender's identity, pricing or terms.

  • Duplicate verification (DV) alerts across the network
  • FundLock funding registrations, confirmed on the call
  • Signals attached to the verification, not buried in a report

Duplicate verification

High

Cedar Ridge Trucking was verified by two other lenders in the last 14 days. The latest event was 3 days ago.

Lender A14 days ago
Lender B3 days ago

FundLock registered

The borrower confirmed funding terms with another partner on a recorded call. The event is visible to your desk before you wire.

Illustrative example. Business names and figures are fictional.

01

24-month statement PDFs

Generated from the connected account, not uploaded by the borrower.

02

Transaction-level categorization

Deposits, draws, NSFs and transfers, mapped to a consistent view across banks.

03

Balance trend and average daily balance

The numbers your credit box already asks for, calculated from the source data.

04

Alert history

Duplicate verifications and FundLock events, timestamped and kept with the file.

The evidence trail

Every number opens to its source.

Underwriting decisions get reviewed months later, by people who were not on the call. FinClarity keeps the statement, the transaction and the network event together, so the decision can be re-read instead of re-litigated.

Recordings are retained for 30 days by default. Metadata, results and network events stay with the file for as long as the network needs them.

Pricing

Plans that scale with verification volume.

Monthly credit allowances across all four verification methods. Prices come from the same live plan data the sign-up flow uses.

BYOP means Bring Your Own Plaid: Bank Connect runs on your company's Plaid keys.

A credit pays for one verification; how many it uses depends on the method. DV means duplicate verification: an alert when another FinClarity lender has already verified the same business.

Each verification spends credits by method. See what each verification spends

Finclarity Link costs 1 credit, Bank Connect costs 0 credits on your own Plaid keys, and Manual and Share Screen cost 0.5 credits each.

Bank credentials stay at the bank

Borrowers authenticate with their bank or Plaid. FinClarity never sees or stores bank credentials.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest, and field-level encryption for the secrets that matter.

Multi-tenant by construction

Every query is scoped to your organization. A lender cannot read another lender's files.

Questions

The things lenders ask first.

Something not covered here? Send it to sales@finclarity.io and a person answers.

How is FinClarity different from a bank-statement parser?
A parser tells you what is in one statement. FinClarity pulls the full bank history, scores it, and then checks the network for duplicate verifications and funding events. The statement is the input; the decision is the output.
Which verification methods are available?
Four. Finclarity Link connects the bank through a hosted FinClarity page. Bank Connect runs on your own Plaid keys. Manual records a supervised browser session through our Chrome extension. Share Screen joins the borrower on a live meeting. All four write into the same verification file.
Do you resell Plaid?
No. Bank Connect runs on the lender's own Plaid account (Bring Your Own Plaid). FinClarity does not resell or provision Plaid access, and bank credentials are entered with the bank or with Plaid, never with FinClarity. If you do not have Plaid, use Finclarity Link instead.
What happens when a borrower is working with another lender?
FinClarity returns a duplicate-verification (DV) signal when the same business has been verified elsewhere in the network, and a FundLock alert when a borrower confirms funding with another lender. Both are shown on the verification, with timing and without exposing the other lender's identity, pricing or terms.
How are verifications priced?
Plans are monthly credit allowances. Finclarity Link costs 1 credit, Bank Connect costs 0 credits when you use your own Plaid keys, and Manual and Share Screen cost 0.5 credits each. The pricing page reads current plans and credit costs from the live plan API.
Is there a demo account?
No. Accounts are created through sign-up and plans are billed monthly.
Is the borrower experience mobile-friendly?
Yes. Borrowers arrive from a lender's link, usually on a phone. The verification page is designed to be completed without creating a FinClarity account, and the SMS passcode flow carries its own consent and opt-out language.

See it on a file you already know.

Bring a borrower you have already funded. Run the verification yourself, check the network view, and judge the evidence against the decision you made.
